On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Associated Black Charities is hosting Community Convos, a series focused on continuing their commitment to listening, learning, and building alongside the communities they serve.

This conversation will also include a focused discussion on the future of 2100 Guilford Avenue, the former Maryland State Department of Probation and Parole building. As decisions around this property move forward with the State of Maryland, it is critical that community voice is centered in shaping what redevelopment looks like and who it serves.

Community Convos is a space for open dialogue, collaboration, and collective problem solving. Residents, organizations, businesses, and stakeholders are all welcome to come share, listen, and connect.

There Goes My Hero will be on site to discuss the importance of our work in the community and add potential life-savers on the bone marrow registry.
