Drive-Up Bone Marrow Registry Drive in Honor of Kristy Cooper

There Goes My Hero and the Kiddie Academy of Abingdon have partnered to host a contact-less drive-up bone marrow registry drive in honor of Kristy Cooper, a local Harford County resident. In October, Kristy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and will likely need a bone marrow transplant.

It only takes five minutes to register, and you could save a life. Each year, thousands of patients with blood cancers and blood disorders will need a bone marrow transplant to survive. With a simple cheek swab, you’ll be a registered bone marrow donor and if you match with a patient in need, you may be asked to donate.
