Bob Bell Automotive Charity Golf Tournament
There Goes My Hero is excited to announce that the Bob Bell Automotive 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on September 10, 2018.
Here is a letter from Bird Bell Bishop, announcing the start of a wonderful partnership:
Dear Friend of Bob Bell Automotive,
It’s hard to believe that my father, Bob Bell, passed away from leukemia seven years ago this month. It was a short but hard fought battle. More than anything we wish he could have had the opportunity for a bone marrow transplant but he didn’t have the time.
There are many people here in Maryland who are currently fighting leukemia. The battle is usually a lengthy and expensive one because the key to winning is finding a bone marrow match.
In honor of my father, Bob Bell Automotive has partnered with There Goes My Hero, an organization here in Maryland that provides hope and nourishment to leukemia patients and their families who are waiting for a bone marrow transplant match.
On Monday, September 10, we will host the 1st Annual Bob Bell Charity Golf Tournament at Chartwell Golf & Country Club to raise money for those patients and their families. A shot gun start will begin at 10:00am and it will be a full day of exciting events including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Putting Contest, Hole in One Contest as well as raffle prizes.
