Marrow Drive at Maryland Day and Fundraiser
Come join There Goes My Hero this Saturday, April 27th, from 9am-1pm, at the Comcast Center at the University of Maryland – College Park as we host a bone marrow drive during Maryland Day! We will be alongside Brenda Frese, and the men’s and women’s basketball teams, so come out to join the bone marrow registry and get their autographs, and then enjoy the rest of Maryland Day! It only takes a few minutes to join the registry to have the chance to save someone’s life. 6 out of 10 patients don’t have the match they need for their transplant. Come help increase their chances of surviving and save someone from a curable illness!
While you’re at the drive, make sure you get a flyer (or print one out) for a fundraiser for Hero being held at Looney’s after the drive, from 11am Saturday til 2am Sunday. Bring the flyer with you and Hero will get 10% of all food and drinks! We hope to see you there!
