I am writing to ask for your help…anyway you can. Please share this with everyone you know.
Today I would be calling my father, Beto, to wish him a happy birthday. He was one of the most exceptional human beings I have ever known. A navy officer, a CEO, a father, a husband, a teacher, a mentor, a giver. I would love to tell you his story another time.
The reason why I am not calling him today is because leukemia took him away from us in 2005. We could not find a bone marrow donor, but you can help www.theregoesmyhero.org foundation (TGMH) in our quest to kick leukemia in the butt. Our foundation provides nutritious meals to those affected by leukemia and their families, registers people in the bone marrow registry and raises money for leukemia research.
On June 3, 2012 we will be holding our 4th Annual Polo Match and Family Outing, our largest fundraiser, with honorary chairwoman and ACC champion coach, Brenda Frese This year your contribution and support are doubly important since the Seraph Foundation will be matching every single penny raised by TGMH. If you donate $10, we really get $20.
